Fine Art Children’s Portraits are about letting your children shine as I capture the beauty of who they are.

Who is it For?

Fine Art Children’s Portrait Sessions are for children 6 months (sitting unassisted) up to 18 years old.

The Photo Session

Each session includes your child photographed in front of a classic black backdrop.

Sessions are just 5-10 minutes, short and sweet and perfect for kids’ attention spans.

The End Result

Included with your session is a gallery of high resolution digital files (minimum of 5 photos, per child, in both color and black and white) that you can print & share with family!

SCHOOL PORTRAITS

My goal is to provide a custom, boutique experience to all families attending the schools who have chosen Kajal Ramjee Photography to photograph their students.

My service is personal and professional. Unlike large, corporate photography operations, I only take on a few, select schools so that I can provide superior customer service and artistic images.

My aim is to capture the essence of the children in front of the camera. My approach preserves the unique personality of each child in an artistic way. I provide a light and fun experience for children and take pride in providing an environment where the kids can relax and be themselves, naturally. I will never force a smile, just the authentic child on the day. The results are genuine and timeless portraits that are far from the traditional photos we have become accustomed to.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What services do you offer?

Time of Year: Photos may be offered any time of year! I organize everything according to each school’s schedule.

Communication: I work with each school’s point of contact person to organize picture day according to their unique needs. A detailed PDF describing all ordering procedures and shooting day preparation will be provided to be distributed to families prior to photo day. From there, I will handle all communication with, and questions from parents regarding ordering and products.

Ordering: Families will receive a preview gallery of their images in about 2 weeks from picture day! This preview will contain a link to a password-protected online ordering gallery set up according to grade, homeroom, advisory, or the grouping which makes sense for the school.

Prints and Products: Prints are ordered online and are hand-delivered by me directly to the school within just a few weeks.

Each child will be provided 2-3 images, presented in both color and black and white. The family may chose the photos they want printed, as opposed to having a pose chosen for them. I also provide boutique product choices such as large prints and digital images for future printing and archiving.

Schools are provided with all digital files to use for yearbooks, website, school advertising, and school ID’s.

Equipment and Space: I provide all equipment needed for photo day! I am a natural light photographer. With your permission, I will visit your school 2 weeks prior to picture day and find an agreed upon spot for portraits. All I need is a good window! I do not use big lights or invasive equipment.

Staff: Depending on the size of your school, I may request some volunteers to assist with organizing the students.

I take staff and class photos depending on the school’s needs.

I am willing to work with schools to provide custom services that fit your unique needs.

How much does this cost?

I have competitive rates, parents are under no obligation to buy, and nothing is due up front. I offer a variety of collections and a-la-carte products to fit everyone’s needs and budget. The best thing about it? I donate 10% of the gross profits to the schools that I photograph!
